Allan Reyes

Fire safety is a shared responsibility that requires both government support and community action. This Fire Prevention Month, Cong. Allan Reyes recognizes the critical role of the YES Firetrucks Initiative and the dedicated volunteer firefighters who work tirelessly to keep District 3 safe.

A Commitment to Fire Prevention

Fires remain a major threat in urban areas, often causing loss of life and property. Cong. Allan Reyes continues to push for better-equipped fire stations, faster emergency response, and strengthened fire prevention measures to safeguard every household in District 3.

Through the YES Firetrucks Initiative, several barangays now have improved access to fire trucks and trained personnel. These emergency responders, backed by community fire volunteers, serve as the first line of defense against fire-related incidents.

As a dedicated fire safety advocate, Cong. Allan Reyes and the entire YES Team are always prepared to respond to fire emergencies in the district. Currently, he has provided four fire trucks to District 3, Quezon City, and in addition, he personally owns three more fire trucks that can be deployed in case of fires or disasters. YESnaALL!

Empowering Fire Volunteers and Strengthening Response Systems

To further improve fire safety, Cong. Allan Reyes supports initiatives that:

  • Enhance barangay-level emergency response teams through training and equipment support.
  • Provide modern firefighting tools for high-risk areas in District 3.
  • Expand fire safety awareness campaigns in schools, communities, and workplaces.

Legislative efforts, such as the Fire Protection Modernization Act, reinforce the need for advanced firefighting equipment, updated safety protocols, and expanded support for local fire units. By investing in fire prevention strategies, we can reduce the risk of devastating fires and ensure the safety of every family in District 3.

How You Can Help

As part of Fire Prevention Month, we encourage all residents to practice basic fire safety measures:

  • Conduct regular electrical inspections at home and in workplaces.
  • Keep fire extinguishers readily available in case of emergency.
  • Avoid overloading power outlets and never leave cooking unattended.
  • Participate in community fire drills and awareness programs.

Fire safety starts with awareness and action. Through stronger community involvement and government support, we can make District 3 a safer place for everyone.
